A very good country paper. One to aspire to be like.
A good editor too.
One would think it would be a shoe in to win its category in the SA Country Press awards later this month.

If they don't they end up on the back bench or worse still, Minister for water security

Fortunate enough to work in their Sports department for some time. Their Sports department, on its own, has a very impressive alumni of journalists that have gone on to bigger and better things. Ian Shuttleworth, Zac Milbank and Corey Norris all got their starts there.
