I guess I have taken the passion I had to teach my boys the game into my new role this year as a coach and in a way I guess I treat the lads I have in my team as 'my boys' and hope that what I can teach them makes them successful in their own way and give them some happiness.

But my biggest fear was that I didn't want to be too overbearing on my boys... I have seen it too much before and feel sad for those kids who are confused about playing for the love of the game and playing to make dad happy...
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

TBB, swimming lessons for the young lad. By the age of 10 he'll be a proficient swimmer and it will stick with him regardless of whether he chooses to go into competitive swimming after that. It will be really easy to work swimming lessons around other sports too.

Ok. have a bitch. We have a guy who we paid good coin to play for us and not only that, but good coin to clear him from his prior club. Anyhow, this bloke has gone to a league team, a week before we can pick up anyone else in the 30 June clearance deadline and the league team has asked him to play there this week which is our centenary match. I'm pissed off, because we have been more than generous to offer his services, but they asked him to play this week. Very poor form from Centrals.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Surely you wouldn't deny an aspiring footballer the chance at a higher level (the highest in the state) .. If that's what he wants and he accepts it, I dont think you can blame his new club for it.

Agreed, but to balance the argument I would say the player has every right to give the SANFL a crack. If it was going from Div 5 ammos to Div 2 I would not share the same opinion however.

Going from Riverland Footy to SANFL, albeit the club in the Riverland has every right to be upset, the player should be given the chance.

Right shed heads, a tradie type question.

Whats the best way to repair a hole in a gyprock wall caused by Junior Choccies bolting to the crapper at the last minute and ramming the handle thru the wall ?? The piece of gyprock is still attached but just flapping inside teh wall cavity....

Help me so I can get Mrs Choccies off me back....
