BEST vaule beer IMO - Can quite often pick it up for under $40 at First Choice and around $41 standard at Dan Muprhys.
The range are all good, but have been sticking with the Lager over the last couple of weeks.

I agree, very good value, the more I drink it the more I rate it!

If anyone still sells that LMA take care- hasnt been brewed for about 3 years at least!

Wish it would come back though :(

XXXX bitter is great. Just cant buy it in Adelaide. (Why?)

If you pop into Dan's and like a Dark Ale I recommend having a crack at the "HobGoblin". It aint cheap- About $7 for a 500ml stubby, but its great!

Also love a Kilkenny, either Pint or can (release the widget!)

At least you'd only wake in the morning with a headache from the beer....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

For me...

Greene King IPA (would be classed as 'what I was brought up on')

Greene King Abbot Ale (their strong ale...even now don't tell my dad I drink it  )

Caffreys (their own description says it all...is cold as lager, smooth as stout, and with the taste of ale)

Coopers Pale Ale (only tried it after I started following the Legs. Found in my local Tesco's but now discontinued...will make the one I have at the Coopers Stadium even better)

Punk IPA (locally brewed...very, very nice http://www.brewdog.com/punk_ipa.php )

Miller GD (bog standard party beer)

The Black Wattle Original Ale is an amazing beer, toasty goodness all through it, barely needs to be chilled at all. A genuine winter rip snorter.

The ESB is pretty damn good too.

Tried this beer last night. Very unique tasting beer, and i wasnt real keen on my first taste. It actually grew on me as i got through it though, and by the end of it, i felt like having another. You can definately taste the wattle seeds, but there is also a hint of chocolate and mocha - it takes a few sips to notice that though. The Black Wattle is not a beer i could drink too many of, but not bad as a change-up beer.

I bought a few other different beers while at Dan Murphy's last night - some different James Squires ales, some Little Creatures and also a couple of Fat Yak paleys. I will try them over the next few days.

Very nice stuff. I wish Dan Murphy's would sell them, but if I'm ever driving past the Ed I stop in for a slab of those Pales.
