2009- What has it brought you?

Anything!

Highlights:

- Planning & booking a European holiday for 2010
- Rekindling my wife's interest in footy (to the point where she spanked REB in the hogg sheild, and total outclassed me!)
- Watching the Crows and their emerging talent. They started playing entertaining footy again this year, the first season in a few that they've actually been fun to watch!
- Watching my brothers play footy, love my Saturday country footy expeditions.

Lowlights:

- Langhorne's not making the GF (in A's & B's), and Strath being the ones that delivered the knockout.
- Ben Rutten giving away that free kick

Pretty boring year for me really, no massive highlights, but no real lowlights either which is a good thing! Nice to have a boring one now and then.

Weird year...

Very quiet at work. Not the way you like it...
First full year of not playing footy and being involved in other ways.... nothing beats running onto the field before a game... nothing... Missed it so much !!
Eldest Choccie's first year of school and the absolute joy of watching him overcome his obstacles and make huge inroads.... so proud !! And so thankful to Autism SA and the Education Dept for the support they give us !!
Utter disappointment at the way the Crows season finished....
Experiencing my first BDO. Loved it !!
Extra weight... hitting 85 kilos for the first time ever... got to 86, back to 81 at heading downwards thankfully...
Went to the cinema for the first time since Goldmember in 2002
Plenty of posts in safooty.net !! Been great fun though

Looking forward to 2010 !!
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
