No good lads, think I finished around 14th of 45 runners .. Went up against the big stack all in with my AJ against his KQ, survived the flop but unfortunately he found the K on the turn.

Was an excellent day and tournament though, highly recommend it.

Every Sunday I reckon mate, check the 888 Poker website for confirmation ... Rego is at 1, $10k starting stack and another $10k for a stamped up card (which only takes a meal, or 2 beers), tourny starts at 2.

I know the lad running the one at the Checkside Tavern so I would be biased anyway, but to be completely honest it was probably the best run and enjoyable pub tournament I've been involved in.

They can be really helpful, especially if u think u played a few hands wrong.

Here is an example of a game i played tonight where u play your position more so than your cards. The closer u are to the dealer button the better, u have position on the rest of the table and get to act last when the dealer...

Camooon: folds
Godveia: calls 40
superelliott: raises 80 to 120
jocika69: folds
JuriyP: folds
Godveia: calls 80
*** FLOP *** [2d 6h Ts]
Godveia: checks
superelliott: bets 120
Godveia: folds
Uncalled bet (120) returned to superelliott
superelliott collected 300 from pot
superelliott: doesn't show hand
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot 300 | Rake 0
Board [2d 6h Ts]
Seat 1: Camooon folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 2: Godveia folded on the Flop
Seat 4: superelliott (button) collected (300)
Seat 5: jocika69 (small blind) folded before Flop
Seat 6: JuriyP (big blind) folded before Flop

As u can see, i didnt have good cards, but i had a really good position on the table (being on the button).
even though i did flop a pair, it wasnt a really good pair, and with the continuation bet after the other player checked, i took down a fairly easy pot

Gets trickier when the first to act commits a continuation bet when the flop isn't attractive to your hole cards .. Im still wondering whether I got bullied off a nice pot in my tourny on Sunday because of a continuation bet from the bloke before me, and I'd be lying if I didn't say it bugged me for a while lol.
