I was out that way in a mate's little tinny for the first time and was shitting myself about those things.

That was my first time out fishing from a boat (if you can call it that !!) and when my mate rang me to ask me if I wanted to go out in his new boat, I was expecting something a little bigger.
Being a bigger bloke, when we backed the tinnie into the water, I went to hop in and just about tipped the thing over !! Leaning over the side to bring in any cathes, you feel it tip to the side. I think I might have to pass this weekend, at least until he gets a bigger boat !!!
