Well mate, there is no way I was going to chase the squid I dropped over board while I was cleaning it.

I was out that way in a mate's little tinny for the first time and was shitting myself about those things.

You would have been fine mate. The shark would only have been a couple of feet bigger than the boat you were in.

Yeah, tell me about it...

That was my first time out fishing from a boat (if you can call it that !!) and when my mate rang me to ask me if I wanted to go out in his new boat, I was expecting something a little bigger.

Being a bigger bloke, when we backed the tinnie into the water, I went to hop in and just about tipped the thing over !! Leaning over the side to bring in any cathes, you feel it tip to the side. I think I might have to pass this weekend, at least until he gets a bigger boat !!!

No worries. I thought it was a business code to do with duty free or some overseas travellers discount.

Nobody probably wants to see this, because it's old news, but this was taken 20 minutes after the 2009 GF. I had just spent the most harrowing 3 hours of my life watching the game and by the time the pic was taken, it was just a massive relief we had got over the line.

That was a very rare picture- a GLENELG supporter HAPPY on GRAND FINAL DAY!!

What an interesting choice of holiday destination - Senegal and Mali in particular. Can I ask, what made you chose Mali for a holiday?

I'd like to check out Senegal and various other points on the West coast of Africa one day, but I doubt I have the bollox to get over there TBH. Morocco was far enough for me I think.
