First plane - sat on the plane for 90 minutes with brake problems
Second plane - sat on the plane for 60 minutes then told it wouldn't be going - no clearance was what he said in his text
Got in at 4pm

I'm waiting for a similar scenario to happen to me and our committee. We have advertised our registration link (some guys have been good and done it without any issues), will keep advertising it over the next month and we have contacts if anyone has any issues registering. We have a registration day planned we just have to lock it in and it remains to be seen how many guys actually bother coming to it so I can see guys waiting until the Thursday night before round one to register (which I want to avoid as much as possible) then expecting the club to pay for their registration fee because they don't understand why they have to pay it.The Bedge wrote:Idiots.. idiots everywhere!
Yesterday had our senior registration day - advised - if you are having trouble registering online, or need help, or have any questions then come down!
No one came down of course (not a big deal I just wanted to do a clean and stocktake anyway).. but this morning all these idiots messaging me asking questions on how to register, how to pay etc etc.

Ha! This is guaranteed! I've also been posting the link on FB, emailing, SMS for the last month.. and each time i let them know they need to pay at least the option of membership ($60) when registering - there is no way around it..
Already today, had two people contact me - one asked if the club can register and he'll give us the money later.. the other said he didn't know had to pay when registering.
Just had a 15min chat on the phone with a player who couldn't work out how to link his Cricket ID as well. [emoji38]
Juniors on the other hand - so good.

Bloody hell haha, the old I'll give you the money later trick hey.
I had similar when I had an older guy (who was half pissed) tell me the club should have a registration day and the club can pay for each individual registering on the day and get people to pay back later. I told him it doesn't work like that, we're definitely not doing that and every player will have to pay it using their own bank card and there's no way around it.
The Cricket ID is the biggest road block we've had so far so I can understand that being tricky for people but most guys don't have one anyway (Only nuffies like me who watch the state cricket live streams have one, most guys aren't even logged into their MyCricket profile on the MyCricket App).

Stock take today.
One of the items to count if perforated steel plate. One has 4.76mmØ holes. One has 2.38mmØ holes.
I have just had someone ask me which one is which for when they count them.

You soon get told when you get your holes mixed up.
