Coopers will now be the largest Australian owned brewery in Australia after an English based South African company purchased Fosters, the makers of ( VB :vom: ) and assorted other crud.

With Lion Nathan owning West End ( :vom: ), by default, Coopers become the largest Aussie owned brewery.

Not that I need anymore reason to drink it, but I do now!

The poms might as well own Fosters. The UK is the only place on the planet where that filth is consumed in any significant volume. I haven't seen anyone touch the stuff here since the '80s.

The last time I saw someone drink Fosters was back when it was common practice to wear footy shorts to all outdoor events with one or both crackers on the hang out.

I looked at a carton and it was $42/$44 I am pretty sure. It will be something I will have in the fridge over Xmas/New Year :)

BWS have a 4 pack of beers of the world.

$42 for 6 Grolsch, 6 Peroni Leggera,6 Becks and 6 Stella. Good value IMO.

Have seen at Dan Murphies the last few weeks that Stella was out cheaper than even Supa Dry for around $38 a box. Is it being made here now?

Recently tried it myself as was also impressed, also gave Boag's Premium Light a crack and thought that was great for a light (for when the fun police tells you its your turn to drive)

Tucking into a few of James Squire's 150 Lashes Pale Ale and it goes down a treat. Time to order a pizza or four.
