Does anyone here remember Maxi's cafe under the old John Martins, there was a little food court down there.

The shop had stacks of oranges in their cabinets. It was a popular haunt for us school kiddies on a friday arvo as it wasn't that busy so no-one could catch out the smokers

they had the BEST chips in the world too!

I think I do. Wasn't there a lot of lime green laminate down there? To get there you had to go past the confectionary area where they had that 'pick and mix' chocolate conveyor belt.

I still have three or four of those cans. They say "Coke" on the bottom.
Wonder if they are worth more than 10 cents now?

I used to down a can while I was waiting for my chips to cook and then claim the winner when I went to pay for the chips.

I couldn't bring myself to do it. For some reason, I felt that writing away for any stickers would somehow cheapen the achievement of collecting them all  (yes, I know).
