Sent him an email to advise the situation and a good time to call. Hopefully it doesn't make his job easier trimming the candidates down.

Called him this morning. It went pretty well. I have a proper interview next week.

Also, he knows someone I know, so he called them and I apparently got a glowing personal reference....obviously doesn't know me very well.

I don't think that's a good idea to be honest.

Well, this is good news. You and Spargo can share the bin duties while I am away.

Maybe don't tell him you spend half your working week on here though at the 2nd interview.
Maybe wait a bit.

My wife doing some work in a big department store saw two kids aged 7 and 8 try to steal 3 Dyson Vacuums. Got caught but apparently a normal thing because of their age nothing can be done. Security Guards said this is happening all over town ATM

Why would 7 & 8 y/o's be stealing, or attempting to steal vacuum cleaners... seems an odd item to try to nick? Is there a substantial black market in Dyson products?

As the Police commissioner said the other day regarding the rock throwing copycat incident, complete lack of parental supervision.

Worth over $600 each, no doubt sold cheaply to get quick cash. Part of some sort of gang going around different centres doing the same thing.

A penis should come with a quadratic equation, and would not function until the quadratic equation was solved: "Find the root to get a root". Delinquency would cease within a generation.

As for the kids mentioned above, did they not even get a free ride home in a police car?
