Completely agree. I can't believe I'm at work today, plus I have a bloody cold and should have stayed home.. but then I'd be watching the cricket which would make me feel worse!!

Yes, 12 working months of 30 days and the "Holy Days" between Christmas and New year off for everybody - well almost everybody, certain food and liquor outlets would need to be open. ;)
It would make adjusting for leap years easier too!

I love working this time of year, nice and quiet and relaxed at work this time of year, cricket is on and great time to catch up on stuff for the new year....Ill take holidays during the year when its busy at work!! 8)

Don't chuck them just yet though...there's a dvd chain gone under here Zavvi (formerly Vigin Megastore) and they said on the news that people should hang onto any gift vouchers as the administrators might be able to give refunds but it will take a little while until they know for sure. You might find the same could happen for your shop.
