I have been asking for 2 years to be put back out into the factory.

When it's 42 degrees and I walk out of the office door into the factory I do like to rub my arms and say "f*** it's cold in there", the blokes on the floor love it!

Having to raise a maintenance request because my office air-con is too cold.....

That reminds me of another reason I hated the office, the women always complaining it was too cold, FFS put a jumper on or get a job working on rooves.

The missus keeps hinting at putting one in our walk-in along with a coffee machine as we play Russian stand-off waiting for the other to go downstairs to get it all happening, our maid doesn't work on the weekends.

Nah, dont need it. I've never had a coffee and dont drink beer at home. Given up iced coffee too.
Get the missus to leave the front door unlocked so Uber Eats can deliver straight to my bed though.

Quite the oposite, I've actually lost 7kgs since stopping working in an office 12 months ago!
I call it the no exercise, more beer diet. I love my metabolism.

I’m home today as I’m getting Electrical work done at home........ but the power is off and I can’t turn the A/C on.
It’s **** hot already.

I shouldn’t complain too much as the sparky is in the roof as I type.

I feel the same! We have a 9 month old who occasionally wakes during the night - last night he was very unsettled, and a 6yo who is the worst sleeper I've even come across and she will regularly start calling out during the night for the most random things - if you ignore her she just gets worse and louder and more hysterical.

Last night they were both waking up in tandem.. all night..

My 2 year old hasn’t been awake for more than an hour at night time in over a year. The worst we get is having to go in there and give him a cuddle and change his nappy. Takes 5 mins. And that happens once per fortnight or so.

He is that good the poor little bugger spewed because he has a cough - and we didn’t even know about it until morning.
