The only proper ride he wanted to go on was the Gravitron. We all went on, so that was about $28 for that. Then he did the fun house and some of the little kid rides. The show bags were priced pretty good.

The foods expensive, and pretty terrible. I remember it being better. Everything we got was cold. Lunch and dinner there for 3 people would've been about $80-$90 all up.

The sideshows are a rip now too. Most are $10 for 3 shots. What a joke. Only got sucked into doing two before I put my foot down and the Mrs just bought a big Pikachu. Way cheaper than trying to win one.

We did the Yellow Brick Road, just so it was something to take up time that was free, and it would move us around the show.

We saw all the animals and the Team D-Max stunt show is pretty good too.

We don't do the sideshows, we're normally in and out within two hours, rides, show bags and check out whats going on in the arena then hit the road.

We rocked up at noon, left at 8pm.

5 of us, $70 odd to get in, the kids just go bang bang bang throughout the rides, we might jump on one or two and then everyone has worked out what showbags they want and go get them, then we meet at the arena.

I hate crowds and none of us like walking around all day looking at shit while people walk around slowly or stop in then middle of the walkways.

Speaking of which, if you have a phone in your hand, is it now socially acceptable to not use your brain or do you become invisible and you can be walked straight through or something.

Contrasting experience...
- My lady and I took one of her grandsons to the show while his recently divorced mum was at University for the day.
- Parked a few railway stops from the show
- Free train trip for 2 seniors and a 5 year old
- Free entry because I paid $600 for Life Membership of the RA&HS 40 years ago. (Taking the long term view has paid off.)
- 1 show bag of his choice, and no rides because he was more interested in seeing and patting the animals.
- There 1pm to 4pm Tuesday afternoon - not very crowded away from the show bag area.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

It was worse Friday night because some idiot out a concrete block on the train line. Took me nearly 2 hours to get from Salisbury to adelaide as the trains weren't running when they said they were

Bugger the busses, I got stuck in a lift in the car park last night! Did a He Man effort and opened the doors up with sheer force only to find I was between floors. 100 button presses, some mild panic and 5 minutez I got out on the wrong floor and took the stairs. Could have been worse, at least I was alone and no Port supporters were with me.

Not as bad as Melbourne members getting a pamphlet in the letterbox about finals packages....a week after they were bundled out the 8.
