Not to mention the side line people too
Yep, not complaining about not playing today after that hailstorm! Plus the rain we have had this week wouldn't of made footy the most enjoyable experience today given we were ment to be playing Flinders Park at Flinders Park and I can imagine the oval being in terrible condition at the moment going on past experiences of playing there.
I went for a run and just as I was coming home I got pelted with hail and got absolutely soaked!

Poor bastard, I was just saying to the missus that if power went out in lockdown I'd have to slit my wrists.
God, only things to do would be root and read, rooting would take 30 seconds so I'd have to dig up a lot of books!

Reading will be difficult 'coz I don't have any books in braille. I better go tap the missus on the shoulder...

Possibly... She must be vision-impaired, given her choice of life partner.

As it happens the lights have just come back on. Almost exactly as I walked in the front door, having just made a dash to the shops to get batteries for the torches. FML....

Then a short but heavy storm front passed over, and the power went off again. Came back on 5 seconds later but the lights are dim and flickering.

Couple of hours later - during which the lights vary from dim to barely working - the power goes off completely again.

15 minutes later, back on again, and the lights seem to be normal.

Guess that means they fixed it - until the next weather front passes over....
