Some time in the last decade an original stand-up Space Invaders machine appeared in the front bar of the Holdy. And it still took 20 cents!

I promptly racked up the high score. Proficiency at Space Invaders is not something that one ever loses over time.

There's a chicken shop on Henley Beach Road that has a sit down machine with about 40 classics on it..

Not sure if anyone remembers what was the smallest shop in the world for a while, at Henley Beach; the passageway that was turned into originally a display for motorcycles, and then a second hand book store, next to the Ramsgate.

Buying records at Andromeda Records, when it used to be where Target is now in Pultney St (I think the rest of the building was Centrepoint and possibly Cane Corner), and then when it moved to Gawler Place.

Showbags made of paper (Sunny Boy, Fruit Box and Growers Choice come to mind), that got difficult to handle on wet Show Days.
