Things that make you laugh

Not that it made me laugh at the time (I did my usual deadpan); but after using a fuel voucher I had at a Coles Express, I was asked (with these words) "Would you like to buy four chocolates for two dollars to get a further 70c off your fuel?"

Someone would have fallen for that somewhere; I just said "No thanks".

Watching an old episode of Have I Got News For You that I must have missed first time around and they put up this photo which gave me a little laugh out loud moment...I know it's a fake but it is still funny...

A video being shown on Funniest Home Videos of our kids sent in 10 years ago.

Gets aired about once a year - and tonight was the night!
Every time it's shown we get phone calls, emails and now facebook !!
Saying "Was that your kids" and now the kids get "Was that you?"

What was it about? I may have seen it or probably did not as most of the stuff is not funny at all. Like some drunk falling off some stairs. It could have been lethal.

Okay well - I haven't seen it myself for about 8 years ...lol.

Story goes we had just bought our first video camera...
And we set it up so the kids could see themselves on the TV - so the camera was just to the side of the TV and they were dancing around and being silly - and Miss A Daughter was trying to hog the screen, but, meanwhile in the background youngest A Son - aged 4 was jumping on the lounge.....
He's jumped and become momentarily suspended on the back of the lounge like in slow motion before going head first over the top.

Yeah that's what made it funny it was like slow motion,
And the fact the guy made it sound like (in his funny voice)
"Quick hide mum's coming"

recently at Coles i was asked how i was and the girl didn't look at me when saying it and i replied ohh im dead. My funeral is in 20 minutes and she didn't look up and all she said was that's nice.

Hearing this version of an Elvis classic on the radio for the first time in ages...always makes me laugh...god only knows how the backing singer kept going.
