Sat my L's test with him in Cleve. Great local officer growing up. Did a bit of boundary umpiring at the local footy.

Ahead of its time. Doesn't know if it wants to be an ice block or an ice cream.

I'll take a Calipo ahead of an ice bleam everyday of the week thanks.

The red splits go alright too but yeah, just a poor man's splice.

Who doesn't love a splice..

Sits a close second to Fruitos for me.

I never rated Calipos as a kid, not sure why...

I reckon my favourite as a kid was the strawberry snip, weird as I hated strawberry flavoured anything else. Also had chocolate and coffee in the old days. I think the irregularity of the shape, the challenge of eating them and the liquid left at the bottom to slurp up all contributed.
There's still Swings but they're not the same.

I see there's also "natural" Splices, several flavours including Watermelon Lime, Guava, Orange Mandarin, etc.
Anyone tried these?
Why mess with what's perfect?

^ This. A line of kids sitting along the wall of the primary school during lunch hour, in the shade of the eaves, each one slurping on a Razz or a Sunny Boy as their personal preference dictated.

Then there was the summer I spent hoovering up as many Choc Wedges I could find, to collect the cricket-themed sticks and hopefully win an Atari...

Not me, I got some Golden North when I feel like Ice Cream and the Lord Saviour of hangovers, Zooper Doopers when I feel like an Ice Block. The 2 should never ever ever be mixed together.
