Good luck tomorrow mate. My kid is gutted after missing selection for his granny in the Under 14's tomorrow. Hope it pisses down and they lose now.

LMAO - True. I put my argument forward, believe me.I still missed selection and the bloke who left mid-year to move to Melbourne with 0 games after the Christmas break still took my spot.
I wished no ill on the team, in fact my best mate was skipper and was over ruled by the VC and the President, believe it or not. For my mate I wanted them to go on and win it.
*This was in a Semi-Final mind you and the team lost the game to progress no further.

D'oh! Remember my selection issue at the cricket club? Not much fun mate. I hope he is still going to watch the game?

Been through that before myself REB - upside in the end was the same team made it into the grand final the year after and that time he was selected - even kicked a goal...lol.
But the poor kids - always someone who has to miss out and it's hard on them.

I got dropped for a U17 GF Thursday night.
Played every game all year.
Phone call 11pm that night back in.
Then lost by 7 pts after being up 3 goals at 3qtr time.
Hurtful.
