NRL pre game shows. Sh!ts all over AFL. Only thing I didn't like was the fireworks during The Living End, they tried to match them going off with the drummer but didn't quite get it right.

Also rate when the "New South Wales" or "Queenslander" chant goes around the ground

I went to my first SOO game last night and for the first time I experienced the MTX club. Besides completely paro people, it was a spectacle to behold. Great experience but they also have the fascination with playing music bewteen each try/key play. Dunno why we've had to resort to entertainment during the entertainment (ie, the game!)

I enjoyed the music. Especially before the game when the guitar riff (GGROAT IMO) from Kashmir started playing.

I went to the SOO a couple of years ago at Adelaide Oval.
I’m not a huge rugby fan so wasn’t expecting too much.
It was ok but wouldn’t go again.
It was more about the beers and catching up with mates that made the night for me.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Choice of Tommies or Whiting and I'd choose Tommies every day of the week.
Always a treat when I head up to Fisherman's Bay and have some freshly smoked Tommies.

Yep, totally agree, there's something very speeeecial about fresh Tommies in winter too.

After all this talk I got hungry. Went down to Jimmy Elias & Son just off Port Road. Picked up 10 filleted Tommies (20 fillets). Thought I'd ordered too many as my kids are only 4&5 and wife's not usually a big seafood fan (it tastes fishy  ). Anyways, light flowering and seasoning, whack them on a hot pan with butter for 20 seconds each side to get a little crust. Bam, the kids ate 4 each, wanted more, wife ate 8 wanted more, I wanted more but got left with the dregs. Very nice, $29.99/kg, half the price of Garfish.

I've bought them from there before from the freezer section, cost bugger all, my go to is Parissos. Another way I've had them is panko crumbed and put them in those smallish brioche burger buns from Aldi with iceberg lettuce, tomato, pickle sliced lenghtways, squeeze of lemon and some tartare sauce. My 2 teens thought they were pretty good.
Whoops, there goes another year. Whoops, there goes another pint of beer.

A genuine West Sydney kebab after midnight after 12 hours plus on the piss when your side wins 6-1 against the odds and you backed them at 7/1 a few weeks earlier.

Hey, my team is Champions of Australia after winning the Grand Final 6-1 agains the odds, noone's happier than me!

And Tottenham lost a QF of the FA Cup to AFC Richmond by memory, I'm now a Greyhounds fan!

PS Don't know about more European trophies? Didn't Spurs win a European Cup and a couple of Cup winners cups? (not that I care as I only remember the last 3 FA Cup wins)

Won the UEFA Cup in 71/72 and 83/83.
Were the first English team to win a European Cup in 62/63 (the European Cup Winners Cup).
Won it 5-1 too, almost as good as last Saturday night at Paramatta by the Mighty Mariners! 8)
