Been invited to a dinner to see Gary Player speak which I am very much looking forward too.

Now, I just need to work out what a "lounge suit" is.

Harry Styles, seems like such a humble person for arguably the most popular musician in the world right now.

Never any bad publicity, I only ever hear good things about him, it's great for the kids to have upstanding role models.

Other than the doilys he wears around his neck, I guess he's ok.

Booney you would have enjoyed listening to his cover of Ricki Lee Jones' song Horses?

Little Italian Bistro just around the corner from home. As it turned out couldn’t be effed cooking tonight.

Sat down, Carlton Draught thanks. Menu was forthcoming.

Settled on the Futiri Mista (Mixed Seafood Platter) basically.

Sensational. 4 large garlic mussels. About the same of prawns in garlic. A half dozen pieces of very good Calamari and a fillet of fish.

All washed down with a cheeky glass of Chardy..

Eaten here a few times, but not had this dish before. Very good.

Mum turned 80 on Saturday, I'd spoken to Tim Ginever to see if he could pull something* off to make her day, he sure did. Waltzed into her place Saturday afternoon with a bunch of flowers like it was his own place, sat for an hour and had a beer with us. He's a champion bloke.

Couldnt stay him as a player but that's because he was so consistent and such a crucial part of that Port era.

Off field though the bloke seems like an absolute champion on the few occasions i have met him.

Glad your mum's birthday was made. Spread the word about his deed, far to often we only hear when these 'celebs' do the wrong but never hear the great they do.
