On the subject of kids shows....Tingha and Tucker with Auntie Jean

Don't know if it ever got shown over there but it was one of the earliest shows I remember...I was in the Tingha and Tucker Club...you got a red plastic boomerang I think it was where I first learnt the 'Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree' song too.

Tingha and Ticker are the koalas (always naughty and misbehaving) and that brown thing is Willie Wombat...obviously

Some time in the last decade an original stand-up Space Invaders machine appeared in the front bar of the Holdy. And it still took 20 cents!

I promptly racked up the high score. Proficiency at Space Invaders is not something that one ever loses over time.
