If anyone in this world would like road works, BennyMacca would've been my first pick! Lol

Wasn't there a nation wide outage for Telstra yesterday?

Aaaahhhhhh, see, they have you conned into thinking there is progress when in actual fact it really isn't....
Yes, prime example now being the Sudholz/NE Rd intersection. The right lane is slower now, than it was when you could turn right there.
I finally got smart and didn't bother with the turn left to turn right thing - straight ahead and cut through Hogs carpark or Petbarn, wherever there is no traffic![]()
Example of good roadworks - Park Terrace/Prospect Rd out front of Blackfriars oval - merging no longer required, now 3 lanes, woo hoo!

JK wrote:I'd be all for the roadworks that bring significant benefit (ie, Northern Expressway) but most of the metro stuff, certainly in the West had already been done in the last 10 or even 5 years for no apparent benefit to commuters. Drains still overflow, usually no lanes being added etc. Just a way of reducing unemployment Id guess - which is obviously not a bad thing, just address more important tasks with it.

I was talking to a young male teacher last night about if he had permanency or not and his reply was,
"I have to get into Primary School (he's a high school teacher).........and not be charged with anything..."
He said it in a joking way, but I could tell he wasn't too happy about the situation.
It's pretty sad that even the guys that would never do anything wrong are feeling like they're being looked at with suspicion because of a few sick f**ks.....not to mention the kids that actually go through this bullshit.
