On Saturday night I had the honour of presenting the major award at our region's Women in Business Awards.
I was very honoured to be the first to congratulate the winner, who happens to be a wonderful, wonderful lady who I have become friends with since moving to this town.
She is a fantastic lady and I was obviously very happy for her.
She is a champion of the underdog and works heavily for the disabled and her community.
You're my only friend, and you don't even like me.

I rate the football league that basically forced me to quit showing how professional they are with their sportingpulse website...

My little fella having his first giggling and laughing fit tonight - he laughed so hard it made him laugh more, and ended up having tears running done his face from laughing so much. I think Dad looked a bit like Junior Squawk - laughing with tears running down his face too

I rate the fact that the Advertiser is going to go into journalistic meltdown this weekend, trying to cope with the election on Saturday AND Amber Petty's 40th birthday featuring Mary Mary quite contrary! They will have journalists on double overtime, triple recall and you name it to cover TWO big (???) stories on one day or one weekend. ROFLMAO.

Same mate! Congratulations. Thats a massive, massive effort.

How much training went into it? How long etc:??

Solid 3 months of training, anything from 40-60 kms a week, with a few 70km weeks.
4 long runs of 33km at least need to be done.
If you need more info let me know as there is heaps of info/training plans on the net i can point you to.

What's an "Amber Petty?"

It's hard to describe. Sort of blonde, depending on the colour thats been rinsed through. It's midly attractive until it speaks. It appears to have many things going for it, you only need ask it and despite it's cover appearing harmless it is in fact terrifying to the male of the species. I suggest you approach with caution. Oh, and it likes to "social network".

I enquired in the online medical dictionary and it appears the 'Amber Petty' is described as a localised soreness around the rectum....
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

I just had a 31 second phone call.

The B Grade is short, and I'm having a run for the first time this year!

Look out Sunday morning, it's gonna be bad...

Last minor round game... we forfeited against the blokes last time, and the game nearly got called off the time before that (incident made the sunday mail), so no-one's exactly cue-ing up to play! :D

OH WOW I didn’t realise this was the game against the MP MOB. (One of the reasons I did not add significantly to the PL economy this year)
I thought:
you would not play them again;
they will be head hunting you; and
you have a large number of players still unwilling to ever play them.
I can see why you are short

At least I'll have a first hand account of how it goes out there.

It's easy to be critical from behind the computer screen, will definitely be a bit different on Saturday...

Korea BBQ Restaurant on Goodwood Rd - if you go there for a birthday, the owner will give the birthday person a free fried ice cream and Korean beer, and their special banquet is the best!
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

The Advertiser's current $2 a week home delivery deal. I know a lot of it is crap, but i still read it every day, and with this deal I save quite a bit and its quite convenient too.
