No, I have an even better one. Grange Rd Kidman Park just out the front of APA Group (the Gas contractor)

straightest & flatted bit of road in the history of roads. blatant revenue raising  its not operational yet but will be in a matter of weeks.

I was informed a few days ago that the state deficit is now $14 billion and the interest is $2.2 million a day.
That's more than $1.00 each every day. So, I guess they do need them.

Is there anything to do in Brisbane other than sit in traffic?

I have just spent one week in adelaide on a holiday, and nothing has changed. Adelaide is a hole yes, and so is brisbane. But i believe brisbane is the better hole if you can call it that.
Went down to port adealdie where the light tower is, let me tell you, it was a sunday, and NO ONE was there. I can show you picutres of it to prove it. Like a friggen ghost town, as an example.

so what does adelaide have oveer brisbane then? Cant wait for your response .....;)

probably not, but thats what you get for our road network that is 10 years behind what it should be.
try the story bridge walk (need to book)
Head down to south bank for a walk and look around
Catch a city cat and see the sights of the river (unlike the popeye in adelaide)
Do the gateway bridge walk, see the sights there
go to the foreshore of the river, eagle street.

no beaches in brisbane area, need to head south for that to the G Coast, or north to sunshine coast
On the way do the theme parks, movie/waterworld/seaworld. Get a pass for $70 and have unlimited access to all theme parks

It still proves a point. I was told by the visitor information outlet there that they are struggling to find people to move into the houses they are trying to build there. This was from the visitor info desk lol.

less traffic jams, yes i agree, theres a reason for that.........

Let arrogantt people for a start, thinking adelaide runs the world...........
Motorways through the metro area, instead of stop starting in "main roads".
Does not have a "north adelaide society" running the city. Things get done here, and major projects are not in crippling debt before things get of the ground, like adelaide. Wow, a ten story building, thhats a major achievement for adelaide.....
Roads through the city are accessable for EVERYONE, unlike north adelaide where trademen cars are banned from certain streets, in north adelaide.
Attitude in Brisbane of, if you dont like it, then piss off. Unlike adelaide, where meeting for five years just before things get off the ground, need to have a major meeting, just to pitch a tent.
Actually has a River that runs through the city that doesnt smell like a toliet. Remind me when people will start "swimming in the river torrens", as this was announced years ago that people will be able to do it.
No stupid ideas of a One Way freeway, ......LOL

like some more ;)

and, and.....building a shopping centre, around a friggen gum tree, WHICH IS NOW DEAD, (yes burnside shopping centre i have seen it), whose stupid idea was that .............

:D :D
And before the arguements start, yes brisbane is a hole also........

Fair enough.

Not one of those things affect me, so couldnt give a **** about any of it. Im happy here. Guess its just a matter of opinion.

PS...at least our river doesnt flood our houses every two years. Imagine approving building half of your suburbs under sea level...
