Great!!

I heard there is a class action happening in SA (no doubt many others around the world) and they are up to 700 people! Join up mate.

Would there be much chance of winning the class action if they've already offered to cover the costs of fixing it?

Is just covering the costs of repairs enough? You'd think the class action would be seeking compensation for the time and effort people will need to go to to correct a deliberately dodgy part of their cars for a start.

Problem is, they fix it and there is an estimated (+/-) 10% loss of power output, decreased full efficiency and increased service / running costs. Pretty much the reason I brought it.

It's got some decent go-go for a diesel, I get 1000km's from a 65L tank around town and got nearly 1300km's on a trip to Melbourne and back, as well as good resale value when I need to change it. ( Car allowance from work, change it every 3-4 years ).

So I'm down and down on the deal. Especially in the resale aspect where people will now be walking right away from VW diesels and what I would have got maybe $20-25k for on the used market might now be worth next to **** all.

The lergy I've been sporting since last Wednesday. Dry cough last week turned to full blown bullshit on the weekend and into Monday, Tuesday the chest and nose filled up and since Tuesday night I've been sweating dirty flu bullets.
