getting swooped by magpies whilst going out for a ride

One of them chased me a solid 200m.

Swooped me once, so obviously i shat my pants and start going faster.
It was a downhill section, so just nailed it and was going 40+kph, but this bloody magpie wouldnt stop chasing, swooped me 3 or 4 times before it finally gave up.

Worst thing was the sun was at such an angle that I could see the shadow of the magpie the whole way! It was like a horror movie.

Sean Connery once had that problem and in his furious effort to finish a book fell from the shelf and hit him in the head meaning he missed the deadline.

After pondering the incident in his thick accent he said "I only have my shelf to blame"
