It is too big for my lounge room, and my eyes hurt watching it, but now I can say "I've got a sixty inch!" 8)

I rate going for a weekend stroll (summer or winter) and reaching a sports ground where conveniently, there's some sort of amateur or junior sporting game taking place. Of course, you can't resist but to watch for a little while, wonder what the score is, wonder who is playing, etc etc. Eventually you wander off again but it's been fun watching for a while at least!

Today's mystery game was a soccer game between two sides of lads aged about 12. Of course, the height range was between 4ft and 6ft, weight range 40kg - 80kg and the ref was about 6ft 6, 55years old and 130kg (and yes, he was crap but you wouldn't want anything else as a spectator, would you!). Anyway, I stopped by for about 10 mins and enjoyed it. Then it was half time, I saw no goals and no one seemed to know a score, so off I went again.

In summer, it's great when you're stopped at some traffic lights and there's a game of cricket going on - and either the bowler gets smashed and the ball lands on the road/bounces across the road, OR, as you're watching the batsman's castle gets knocked over as he swings a wild cross bat at a rank long hop, misses it, and the bails fly off the second bounce of the ball.

FANTASTIC !!!

I'd extend that to the complete proliferation of curry shops around the place over the last 5 years or so. There are no less than 3 indian take-aways within cooee of chez Pseudo; one (the best) literally just around the corner. Add to that the two Charminar outlets within driving distance.

If this is the good side of Indian migration, then I'll happily tolerate an occasional dodgy taxi ride! :D

I dunno, there's something offputting about a pink number that reads 1900BRUCE.
