Hope all the Dad's had a cracking Fathers Day.

I sure did, went to Maniax with the bother, his family and mine for an hour of axe throwing, great way to spend some time together. Highly recommend.

There was about a 3 week relaxed period but people were just plain stupid about it, plus some pubs didn't have their thinking caps on and have a walk up area.

Sounds like fun, where is it located?

Had a good day until #2 son got crunched in a tackle and off to hospital for 3 hours, xrays thankfully confirmed no break but a severely strained ac joint has left him in a sling and very sore, season over.

These are the worst. My daughter copped one 4 weeks ago in a tackle and season over also...only a slight separation but still 6-8 weeks.

My daughter copped a broken collarbone for her season to be over about a month ago, she had been playing exceptionally well, she's gone and watched each week bad sadly they lost their semi yesterday.

Had an hour to kill between getting home from my sons game and my daughter coming over last night so I thought I'd sneak down the pub for two pints.

I walk in and another patron insisted he buy me a beer for his Birthday  , I'm nearly done with mine and the barman gives me a pint as it's a mis-pour, have three $4 bets and won about $160, then the daughter rings to tell me she's outside to pick me up, perfect timing.

Silly having 3 x $4 bets then, should have loaded up and had the rest of the year off.

Mate, betting form can stop in an instance, just wanted to keep enough aside to take my 3 kids out for a decent dinner during the week without noticing it.

Grade 1 shouldn't be 6-8 weeks, is that a hospital quack or GP saying that or someone from sportsmed/wakefield

Grade 2 yes but probably not grade 1

First day of a couple of weeks holidays! Working one or two days a week was wearing me out. 8)
Is it too early for a beer or should I get out of bed first?

We've done some work at Kooyonga Golf Club recently and our customer is on the board there, got ourselves a round, some brews and a long, long, long lunch organised. Quite the day planned.

Best course in Adelaide IMO.

You think? I've not played Royal Adelaide but having walked most of it that looks to be a ripping course.
