Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent food vacuum sealer? Or has anyone purchased one from Costco?

Got one from the caravan and camping show last year, it was cheap as and works a treat the Mrs Cryovac seals all kinds of shit when we go away meats, gravy all sorts. It comes with about 20 bags with a valve on them for extracting the air out.

IF I remember, I'll look what brand it is.

All good now, went to Costco yesterday and bought one, does the trick and came with a heap of bags etc. I purchased a box of extra bags and film too.

I had a 5kg whole scotch fillet that I need to cut into steaks, I wanted to ensure that they get frozen properly.
