I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

My ISP. Just got my interweb back after losing it for nearly 24 hrs.

ISP decide to upgrade their broadband system to prepare for superfast or some such. Got email weeks ago giving plenty of notice and saying it should go offline for 5 mins and then be back again. The big day arrives...goes offline at 0830 and doesn't come back. Call the tech support after 2 hrs. The lovely 'Marcus' does some twiddling and checks things and says my local telephone exchange has **** itself during the switchover. He says engineers are onto it and I will be back online by the morning........and I am.

Advance notice
UK based call centre
Local rate phone number
True to their word without trying to fob me off with technobabble.
:-bd thanks Eclipse

Regards
JAS
