Just a couple of photos of a rainbow I spotted today:

Nice one Spelly...don't think I've seen one that low on the horizon before.

If you look carefully I think you might have a double rainbow...there's a second faint one about a third the way up the the sky in the first photo...stretches from the horizon at the far left across to where the cloud on the right gets a bit whiter.

I've never seen one that close to the horizon either, and I can't remember one that bright. And as you pointed out, it is a double rainbow. The town in the background is Murray Bridge.

Yes the double is there in the top shot, and the full spectrum of colours shows in the close up.

My last boss had one from about that size...cute as hell and such a sweet temperment as a pup but she ended up paying the regiment lads to take him for a run with them everyday...dog was as strong as a small pony and she was about 5' 4"...guess who would take who for a walk

Yes, if you get a large breed start training them young.
With our first Irish Wolfhound I made mistakes:
1. I taught him to stand with his front legs on my shoulders for cute pictures of him towering over me - and I'm 180cm - so then he did it to my wife who was 157 cm and 52 kg - ooops!
2. The only way to stop him if he took off in the street was to go the other side of a tree and hope the lead held.

The last one got taught to keep all feet on the ground, and to heel from the age of 12 weeks.
So, either of us could control him with the lead on one hand.

Walked up and down. Helped the recovery process of the hangover from the previous evening's visit to a beerhall.
