I found a job myself and when they wanted me to sign the paper work saying that they helped me find it I refused. I did all the work sending out my CV all they did was sit me down and tell me there was nothing for me.
The one I had to deal with was a classic - the only time any action happened to my file was when I put in an application to change to a different agency. I mysteriously finished their 'job seeker training' (and I use that term very loosely - the agency lost it's 5 star rating as a result of the feedback I gave about it though) a week early and got given their best agent after the first request went through and they mysteriously found a job for me when I put in the change a second time.
The job was a complete dud though, so they were forced into not breaching us had we chosen to quit the job (I decided to persist in the job for a couple more weeks).
Also had a classic stuff-up with an agency that used to have the naming rights to a SANFL ground - I missed out on a job purely because they misread my resume (they thought I was finishing uni when I actually finished the year before). To their credit, they did admit their oversight to me and had found another position for me, but by then I had found another job anyway.
