Of course no silver lining is without an accompanying cloud:

- the digital information on the episode reading something like "Prisoner: a cult serial set in Wentworth prison"

- Every ten minutes the episode being punctuated with a 5 minute ad break.

Yay thanks for the heads up with that Pseudo, - I've watched beginning to end twice now first up in the mid-late eightees when it was on free to air teev and then when it was replayed on Foxtel from start to finish and now 7 Two - Gotta get the set top box on auto record... thanks again pal

Cheers Lunchy...

Just to be clear - I'm talking about The Prisoner, the British '60s psycho-drama, not the Aussie Soap of a similar name (which channel 7 referred to in their digital info).

I wouldn't like you to tune in expecting Lizzie Birdsworth and The Freak but being disappointed with Number 6 and Number 2 :)

A great series on Foxtel called "Breaking Bad", shown on the Movie Channel Wednesday @ 8.00pm. I guarantee you'll get hooked on it once you've seen a few episodes.

Yep there's been a few recommendations in another thread somewhere and rightly so, it's a top show.
Watched the excellent season 3 finale last night and it's been renewed for a 4th season.

That Breaking Bad finale was fantastic, it is a brilliant show and there is no surprise to see it has been given a fourth season. The only problem now is that it is over so I have nothing to watch.

My favourite "Prisoner" type show was "Porridge" with Ronnie Barker.

Bloody fantastic isn't it !!
A derailment off topic of this stature seriously makes you ask what the original discussion was about and certainly makes for a great day ! ;)
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
