Hate those last minute rushes so decided to get organised for once!

36 hour non stop trade though......thats insane!

happens in all states captials. Brisbane have 3 major shopping centres trading for 36 hours also

Not in Perth where people still complain of Sunday trade. If they extended to overnight trade there would be riots. Considering its one of the Worlds best economies it's a disgrace.

I did the bulk of mine on eBay and Amazon. So faaaaarkin' easy and convenient. No parking issues, no crowds, no waiting in queues to be served. I actually started in August which I can't believe! A first for me.
Don't have to worry about food etc because I am away with family and that is their worry woo hoo!

Always makes me laugh how people go crazy for one freaking day! I've been away for an early Christmas and heading home now to avoid the last minute craziness, better than new years which is seriously the most over rated day/night of the year!!!

One of the positives about taking a job in WA over Christmas is that I'm away from all the compulsory family rituals.

However, I'm in an office with one other bloke and 7 women, and little gifts of chocolates and festive food keep appearing on my desk.
Am I supposed to work out where they are from and do something about it?
Will the world end if I just accept them and don't bother?
