Purchasing a Keg

Went to a mates 50th at his house last year
He had a couple of kegs purely for nostalgic purposes
The party separated into male and female sections with the bloke congregating around the keg
There were no arguments, stimulating conversation and plenty of laughs - everyone had a good time
I'm sure the women had a good time as well
Kegs are a social asset..........

The tanned lovely is back at the Royal Park can depot too, mate. Admittedly she is a Mum now, but still a lovely. ;)

apparently a few blokes on here would like to handle hers! Anyway, cans for me. Light and easy, no breakage and no trips to casualty to get drop kicks stitched up.

As someone who has owned pubs I would choose kegs everytime. Nothing beats the taste of a keg beer.
I used to charge a minimal fee for hire and gas and would go around and set it up for the customer.
But yes there is always a knob at every party who dicks around with the gas or equipment thinking they can do it better, i would then get a call asking why the beer is all head.
Beer by the carton is definately easier and less dramas.
Wont even contemplate drinking beer from a can

Mate I could blindfold you and give you a glass of beer from a can and one from a stubby and ask you to differentiate between the two and you would be stuffed. Keg beer you can pick, but from glass or aluminium I think is hit and miss.

A keg is like a Grand Final
It is all or nothing
You are committed to the end and there is no tomorrow to finish the job
Bottles and cans are the soft option

well, the best keg beer is from the Breakfast Creek hotel in Brisvegas. It is still wrapped in wet sugar bags and hand pumped into your glass. Try getting that for your party!

Funny you should say that did an experiment several years back with some staff at the time, did a blindfold test with 10 varieties of beer that are available in both cans and stubs, correctly chose 9 out of 10, couldnt tell the differance between Cascade Premium Light in can or stub.
I actually find quite a bit of differance in canned beer.

And their Seafood platters go just perfectly with the aforementioned brew. :D

I can tell the difference: the can is the one which you can't get your mouth fully around the end of. ;)

I think it is Dover or Alexander St, it runs parallel to Frederick Rd, about three streets towards Tapleys Hill Rd.

Much better than the Scouts at The Port or the blokes at Wingfield, thats for sure. Little family owned business where Mum and Dad run the show, daughter helps out from time to time to.

Do you think it would be a bit rude to ring and ask for what hours the daughter's doing for the upcoming week?
