My brother still lives at home at 27. I've had cousins live at home until they married in their 30s.
So which side of your family is Tasmanian?
My older sister stayed at home until she married age 37.
That was partly for convenience as she was building a business career.
She was also subsidising the family by insisting on paying a much higher rent than my parents wanted.

Officially moved out when I was 22 and in with a mate who had just bought a unit in Klemzig. Awesome couple of years until I moved out of there and in with my partner #-o

Recently lived back at home for a year or so when I came back from a six month stint overseas and while my partner worked in the UK. Another tremendous year in my life

20 when I started paying rent with Mrs Wedgie.
Having said that, I was hardly at home from about the age of 17.
As soon as I moved my parents moved into the country so I had no choice but to make it work with Mrs Wedgie!

Moved out at 18- from Port Pirie to Adelaide.

Lived with an aunt for a year as I settled in Adelaide and uni life, then moved out properly into a share house with mates at age 19.

21 next week and looking to move out again at the end of the year once I graduate university.

I was a bit of a late departure - was 26 when I moved of home. Had no problems at home, just felt it was the right time to start a mortgage and still have it paid off hopefully before I'm 50. Also helped that I was able to get a graduate loan from Homestart and the First Home Owner Grants were at their peak when I bought my house

Also, my aunt is 39, still lives at home with minimal life skills if she were to live independently and I didn't want to become like her, which was another reason I wanted to move out.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10
