Joe Pedler doing a Hopoate on [I think it was] one of the Gowans boys. Fantastic full back but sadly that's now invariably the first thing that springs to mind with his name. :?

Chris Webber calling a timeout for Michigan during their NCAA final against North Carolina in 1993 with only seconds to go and Michigan only being down by a basket - problem was Michigan had no time outs left so NC got two foul shots and posession after those two foul shots!

Good memory, Thiele.

That was a doozy. I was down in the change-rooms when someone came in and told me to go outside to help calm him down.

I declined 8)

That South African cricketer (Jonty Rhodes maybe?) dropping the ball after catching it. As Waugh told him, "You've just dropped The World Cup".

To be fair, Joe is a great mate of Chris and James and it was done in jest. One of the nicest guys who ever graced the football field - great teacher too and he has taken a break from teaching to do a lot of charity work.

Cheers

The South African coach who ordered his team off the field believing they would win a match under the Duckworth-Lewis system only to find that they were a run short.
