Just heard on the telly that Ipswich will be next hit and waters expected to peak at 18 metres.

Are you sure you won't be affected REB?

Bucketing down again today, it's just insane.

People who manage our company's data systems have been advised to leave their offices in West End (not far from South Bank) as the Brisbane river swells.

Ipswich is going under. The Northern side of the city is the most effected. All the shops are shut and the Bremer is going sick. Just called my kids and they are safe. Half of the people at work have pissed off but we are in charge of the call centre so we are now running 24/7 with the phone calls.

Cripes!

I've seen the 74 flood levels on EasiMaps. Our place was dry then so should be right now. We are advising residents who were in the 'blue zone' to move to higher ground today.

Not really funny but i kind of giggled, one of my best mates facebook status...

You know the flooding situation is tense here in QLD when your father in Adelaide rings to remind you to take proper care of the car "no low lying areas for god sake son, keep it off the road or you'll regret it!" Love my dad.
