so much for the lawyers, QC's and weeks of painstaking evidence, the guy was obviously guilty because of his appearance and speech pattern!

If you are self employed just give them a call/talk to them and you can get excused from doing it, that is if you are called to do it. I'll do it again.

Oh okay, that's good to know. I probably wouldn't pass the interview or selection process anyway. No criminal record or anything, but some of my mainstream views on stuff are not conducive to being a juror!
