Which is the worst shopping mall in S.A?

Arndale is the biggest hole in shopping centers in Adelaide I have ever been to. I took my wife there for a laugh and she said the same thing it is a hole. The place has a dirty feel to it and all you want to do is leave and not be there for long.

probably 2nd i would think is Colonnades, only because it takes 30 minutes to walk from one end to the other end....

there is only 1 shopping mall and thats rundle mall, the rest are shopping centers

Of the ones I've been to, Arndale. It's just trash. I was in there a few weeks ago trying to buy some clothes in Big W and it looked like a bomb had hit the joint. Piles of clothes lying around everywhere and absolutely clueless staff. About 3 of the 4 items on special in the current catalogue couldn't be found by the chick "helping" me to the point she went and got a superior who was seemingly as clueless as she was. I then went over to the DVD section and asked some disinterested woman at the counter if they still had any copies of a DVD on sale I was after and she just said she didn't know and walked off. To top it off afterwards I went to get a coffee from the new Muzz Buzz drive-thru there which hadn't even opened yet despite being advertised as open for business in the previous week's Messenger newspaper. I've also lost count of the amount of times I've heard of cars being broken into or stolen from the carparks at Arndale too.

Really they need to level the joint and start again when it comes to Arndale. West Lakes despite all the yuppies is a much better shopping centre.

Haha, the Port Mall has about 4 shops in it ! The Port Canal mall is worse, horrible place.

Arndale is definately the worse listed above. I dont like my missus going near the place.

I avoid shopping centres as much as possible. My favourite however, is Colonnades. If I ever feel a bit depressed or bad about myself, I will walk around 'Nades for half an hour 'people-watching' and I immediately feel a helluva lot better about myself! Thats what happens when you wedge a shopping centre next door to Hackham West and Christies Downs!

- Findon (just a centre)

I'm glad there was an all 6 option as I don't like shopping centres at all.
Actually, I've only ever been to 3 of these.

I saw Arndale last back in the late 1960s, but West Lakes as recently as 2003, when over here from Melbourne visiting family.
Since 2009 I've been to Marion a few times as that is the most accessible from where I live now, but that has been only because getting to Myers there on the way to a friend's house is easier than going to Rundle Mall.

Overall, I'd prefer West Lakes to Marion slightly, but I must admit the only shopping centre I've ever felt comfortable in was "The Glen" in Glen Waverley [Melbourne].
There I could usually get a park close to the lift that went straight up into DJs, and the complex was never over-heated and the air too dry.

Arndale ...easy!!!

The amount of seedy characters and crime at that place is just "mind blowing".

Agreed Southee it shocking. It always has that dirty feel to it which isn't good,
it never seems like its fresh and clean.

West Lakes.

I will probably never shop there again.

I'm not really a fan of West Lakes either, it was very busy there the other day. Why all those young teens hang out in a place like that, I've never really understood why, it's not that great. Over the years they've just kept adding and adding to it. One day they'll run out of room.

Arndale...but not because of the shopping centre but because of the junky scum that hang around the place...they even scare this Elizabethan!!!

Munno Para and Elizabeth can be pretty scary at times. I was at Munno Para this morning and it was dero central.
