Please forgive my ignorance, but what sort of dishes are Argentinian cuisine?

Get into Gaucho's (Gouger St), Sosta (Rundle St), Argentinian Bar and Grill (Port Rd) and Buenos Aires (Hutt St) are four that I know of... I haven't been to Port Rd or Buenos Aires yet but have heard they are really good...

You just have to try it, really good meat...
I am not talking to you for 3 minutes because you punched me in the head and it hurt and that was not okay for you to do

Star Of Siam is very, very good. If you really want to lash out, give Lenzerheide at Hawthorn a go - not cheap, but fantastic food and service.

As it's your summertime now why not take her out for an evening picnic.

These days it's easy enough even for a bloke to organise with all the preprepared food you can get in supermarkets and delis these days...everything from cooked chicken to salads to desserts. It's cheaper so you can make it a bit more upmarket by buying things you both like that would cost an arm and a leg in a restaurant...especially champers (if you like that muck  ) or a really nice wine.

Regards
JAS
