Gingernuts doesn't have kids, but just wants to join in a conversation where he can refer to himself in the third person.

I have no experience with kids, but with puppies it was simple.
Take them to where you want them to do it when they first wake up, when they have just eaten, when they stop running around, and last thing at night.
Then praise them lots when it happens.

GOLD!

And Southee- no worries. Our lad just started solids the past week (banana, Avocado, farex cereal) and is eating like a pro! Just completed his first 360 roll too, now we cant plonk him on the bed for any time!
