The DeLonghi ESAM03110S - Espresso Fully Automatic Coffee Machine.

Mine is the model before hand but basically the same. It's gold !

Got mine at The Good Guys, when they had a massive sale.

JAB, my parents just bought the same machine off the net and got it delivered yesterday. GOLD!

I purchased the ESAM03200 I think it is. I love it to death!

Espresso Machines

Postby topsywaldron » Wed Nov 10, 2010 4:12 pm

Anyone else on here a coffee nerd? I bought the machine below about a year ago and have never looked back, the Expobar Minore III is an absolute beauty. There is every chance I love it a little too much.

I'm looking for grinder advice so if anyone's got a similar style of machine and has got a decent grinder I'd love to hear about it.

We got the top one at work MP, over rated IMO (for the price), the ones that froth the milk automatically just arent the same as doing it yourself with the hot steam. Ive got a $300 manual one at home and prefer it, although not as easy! An auto grinder to get your expresso and do your own milk is what Ill be looking for shortly.

I just bought a Sunbeam milk frother for $79.95 to go with my old La San Marco coffee machine.
As I had MyerOne gift cards to $60, it was a good buy for a nett $19.95

This is very similar to the one we have at work topsy. Its a cracker thats for sure. When I get one for home I will be getting something along the same lines. Auto froth just doesn't get the creaminess from the milk that you need when making a coffee.

As for a grinder we use a stand alone but I had a quick look and couldn't find any brand markings.
If you don't like it, change it. If you don't want to change it, it can't be that bad!

I have the same one you have at home MP. Sensational machine. Used to have a $300 one, that you had to froth the milk yourself, etc and basically wore it out ! It lost all its pressure after a while, which is fairly common. Made good coffee though.

Psyber, I don't know if you've purchased a machine yet but I got mine, refurbished off of Ebay. If you aren't going to mass produce coffee, you might want to look into a second hand one. Mine was completely scratch free and looked brand new. I got mine for about half it's RRP.
