The knee is feeling a little better but is still pretty sore, hopefully it is just a medial strain also...

Even though I have Private Cover (Medibank Private) am I still gonna be up for a bit of coin?

Think each health fund is different but when I went for mine at the imaging clinc attached to St Andrews Hospital I had the pay the lot up front (500 clams IIRC) then claim the majority back from my private health.

Thanks for the well wishes people...

At a tender age of just 28, I hope the knee isn't shot as the only excercise I get is my basketball 2 nights a week.

Am booked in Friday with Dr Tucker at Wakefield, he is also the Doctor of CDFC which will give me something to chat about !!

Thanks again guys, appreciate the feedback...

Yeah, so I've been hearing and being a Central man, I know he has been with the Dogs since the 80's. He looked after my nephew who was playing ressies at Central.

Mate, I'm a very keen golfer and was actually supposed to be having a round at Gawler this Sunday with my once a month social club but with the dodgy knee, that looks like a very high chance of not happening which I'm not too happy about.

I haven't been able to play the last 2 months because of radio comittments with LifeFM and RPH so was ready to see how the swing was going this weekend. Not likely now though :(

Give up basketball and golf and take up darts and pool. (And there are ways you can swing too ;) )

Saw the Doc this morning, sent me off for some X-Rays to eliminate any bone damage...

Said he doesn't think I've done the ACL, which is a relief, but as a precaution, I'm having an MRI early next week.

Knee is getting better and the swelling is going down which is good as well...

Fingers crossed...

chances are it's just lateral then or a PCL stretch (being a tall bloke) and that you may just need to wear an annoying brace for a while (a-la Shaun Rehn) and you'll be fine :D

I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

Don't worry about the comments of Beef, he is called that for a reason, although it was a nickname from a while ago that has now stuck !!!

Anyway, had the MRI this afternoon and see the doc for the results tomorrow afternoon, fingers crossed it's not an ACL...
