I can never drink scotch again after sculling a schooner of it straight when i was 17.
Also drank a bottle of honey mead in 20 mins when i was younger, and the smell still haunts me.
I WON'T drink port, simply because of the name

Similar experience on Beam at a mates 21st, tried it again at Christmas 18 months later, got through 1/4 of a glass of Bourbon and coke, never again....

Strictly wedding drinks for me, beer, wine, soft-drink.

I don't mix any spirit with soft drinks either - anything you need to mix with sugary drinks to get down is unfit for consumption...

When I was in America in 93 I tried Dr Pepper. It reminded me of Brondecon a medicine I used to have when I was a kid. Sickly cherry flavoured muck.

There are three drinks I will never touch again:

Kaiser Stuhl fruity lexia (actually, any fruity lexia - we used to buy casks of this when I was in high school and I can't come at it ever again)
Father O'Leary's Irish Cream (drank a bottle of this muck at a work party and ended up doing a handstand on someone's Commodore - it was all downhill from there)
Tequila (the hangover the following day enabled me to see an imaginary cyclist disappearing under my car's back wheels at intervals. In the end it was too much for my nerves and I swiped a concrete pole in the carpark.)

I also dislike spumante, any kind of lolly water bar Ruski Red, Ribena and Gatorade.

I was "attacked" by a bottle of Bundy Rum as a 17yo. The smell of it still brings on a Pavlov's Dog type of experience some 30 years later!

Life is too short to drink bad booze. Stick to the good stuff or don't drink at all. And if you have to mix it with lolly water to make it palatable, then it ain't the good stuff.
