Will be back there for Christmas Day lunch and tea.

Wife's family will wait until 2nd/3rd Jan as father-in-law is working this Christmas, that involves a trip to the Riverland.

where in the Riverland are you heading to mate?

The home of the Roo, Waikerie. Well Ramco actually, but close enough! My Grandma & Uncle & Aunt live in Loxton too and my mum grew up there so I head up river a fair bit.

Might duck up with the bro's for some fishing between Christmas/New Year too, love it up there. :D

Fish are biting at Lock 4. Might see you out there

Brekky at a mates house with french toast, penguin pancakes and champers while the kids unwrap their prezzies then off to Nanna's with the family for seafood lunch.

I normally go to my best mates place for dinner but they're in Europe this year, so it might be a quiet night at home with the cats this year, which doesn't bother me in the least 8)

Thanks for the tip BC! Just look for a bunch ginger blokes in a tinnie/on the bank. We'll be the ones with the big hats and strong scent of SPF 50+.

Work behind bar Xmas eve, then to in-laws to sleep. Wake up crack of dawn, bacon eggs & oyster brekkie. Traditional lunch with all families, stay with in-laws after father in-law & I debate about the old League vs. AFL argument for hours. Boxing Day spent with mates at Morphies for Test Match recovery session!

Just Me A Dad and 3 x A children this year.

As my mum is working, my dad has his 'own' family, my brother away, mother-in-law passed on.

We will have a nice relaxing but fun family day together O:)
We still have plenty if not toooooo much food.
Probably get the Wii out - board games etc and show the kids how it's done

Am looking forward to it O:)

Addendum to my earlier post - when I had no plans.
I'm now having Xmas lunch with an couple I met at a friends wedding about two weeks ago.
The guy shares my interest in cars and photography, and his wife seems pleasant.
They did warn me I'd have to cope with their grand-kids and the family dogs.
Not far to go from the hills either - just off Greenhill Rd, near Glynburn Rd.
EPIGENETICS - Lamarck was right!

Ended up going up and camping in Katarapko BC, site 15. Good spot for a quick weekender, never been in there before. Fishing was dissapointing, got a good size Callop and one we had to throw back and that was it. Wednesday night was an absolute b1tch, one the hottest nights I've ever spent in a tent!
