Nike (Air Pegasus to be precise) shoes were recommended to me by my podiatrist, best suited for my feet. Never had a quality problem.

Adidas supply our work gear so I like Adidas clothing.

Puma and Adidas (and I'm sure other companies) have a good range of retro shoes, shirts and tracksuits - particularly from the 70's & 80's - you can buy from stores in the USA. There's some really smart designs that look excellent for causal wear with jeans etc.

Actually when I last visited Adelaide about 8 months ago there was a shop in Rundle Mall which sold a small range of similar gear.
Is it still there?

I remember the first pair of Adidas running shoes I bought were in 1987. They were called Adidas 'Zoom' and they were black and light grey with blue stripes. They cost about $60 and were an excellent shoe for that era.

I train with Nike branded clothing for the quality of it and New Balance shoes for the fit, no reason to switch brands at this stage!

Shoes: I only endorse Asics (although I was conned into buying a pair of NB 1007's once which were fantastic)

Clothing: Not fussed as long as it looks good, but mainly Puma and Nike. I feel Adidas are overpriced.

*edit* I won't touch anything that says Reebok on it with a barge pole - bloody useless

Have to agree with the Lonsdale choice. I get stuff sent over from England every year. It's pretty expensive here though.

Shoes- KT26's with Velcro.
Clothing- cant go past Golden Breed

Have to agree with a few comment about Adidas they seem to last a long time. Nike shite (and they sponsor Ley Ley)

Could have gave Diadora a plug here too but brought a T-shirt and shrunk in first wash.

Nike is crap quality, Ive never bought anything from them after having shoes and a Tshirt fall apart within a couple of weeks.
I wear converse casually, for athletic shoes I wear New Balance or Asics.
For clothes I dont really care and just get whateve is cheapest, looks best or more importantly sponsors Geelong or Canberra.
Ive found Fila gear probably the best though.
Best footy boots I ever had were Adidas followed by Puma.

Actually the longest wearing pair of shoes Ive ever had were a pair of Reebok pumps in the early 90s, the things never showed signs of fraying anywhere.
