I did a snapshot of the top 200 posters up to the start of December last year, and another today. These are the posters who have made 1000 or more posts in that time:

Having said that, those posters still in the top 200 but haven't made a post in that time, poses the question: Their whereabouts?

The average number of posts by each poster in the top 200 (not necessarily the same posters) in that time is 357. That's ranging from the highest poster by position:
5th - was mighty_tiger_79 (6346) to magpie in the 80s (9433)
to the lowest poster by position:
200th - was blacky (206) to finn (297)
