A lot of fair points, I too struggle at this time of year and also when the weather starts changing the other way around.

It’s weird though, I actually feel as alive and happy as I’ve been in a long time, Saturday night for instance I had been at the cricket for most of the day, whoofed a few beers and cc’s down at home then went to a party at 10pm, got home at 4am and felt fine Sunday arvo.

I’m in great spirits atm.

Ridiculous when it's still dark at nearly 7 a.m.

It’s getting better, I needed my sunnies this morning at 6:45am for parts of my journey.

Reasonably light now, but it's at the end of daylight savings when it takes unnecessarily long for the sun to come up.

Would you rather have more light in the morning or evening?

Morning definitely.

I don't mind it being dark until 7 a.m. in the middle of winter - naturally that's what happens in winter.

It's the darkness (due to DST) in October and March/April that sh1ts me.

Anyone noticed their curtains are fading since DST started?

I dont get it.

Most of us work full time, which normally means you dont get home or finish work until around 5pm. No one really has time in the morning to do anything outdoors so the extra hour in the evening to get out, go for a run, hike, ride, beach for a swim etc is more valuable than driving to work when the sun is out.

I do my exercise (outdoors) in the morning before work, hence why I hate DST.
