The funniest part about that is that Crown Lager is still more expensive than other half-decent beers.

They will not sell one.

I've just sent this to one of my state ALP connections.
I said I'd love to see the MAC TV campaign, and find out how the police are going to check status and issue the fines.
They have been sceptical about reports in the medical literature that the common cold can have as much effect as being at or a little above 0.05..

Going on a long car journey? Ensure you take a pee.
That is the warning from a group of Melbourne researchers who have discovered that a full bladder can be as distracting to a driver as major sleep deprivation or drinking alcohol.
According to Caulfield Hospital’s aged psychiatry research coordinator Dr Matthew Lewis, a full bladder has a negative effect on attention and memory.

In other words, riding in a car with a teetotal driver who has forgotten to urinate can be just as dangerous as travelling with a tipsy driver, or someone who has been awake for 24 hours.
The study, published in the Neurology and Urodynamics journal, also reveals that a full bladder can reduce the speed at which drivers make decisions.
The research won an Ig Nobel prize, which recognises the weirdest scientific breakthroughs that first make people laugh, and then make them think.

Psyber, hope you don't take offence at this, but the first person I thought of with the first driver was you:

"At about 11.40pm last night a 60-year-old man from Highbury was reported for driving his Ferrari at a dangerous speed when he was recorded travelling at 103km/h in a 50km/h zone on Valetta Road at Kidman Park"
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...
